An Introduction
Frank Mumford has been a full time puppeteer, designer and artful dodger since the age of 14.
His work has taken him all over the world. Together with his late wife Maisie they toured for many years with one of the most glamorous and highly successful variety puppet acts of the period, the internationally acclaimed “Mumford Puppets” which has entertained audiences in many of the world’s top night clubs and theatres from The Moulin Rouge to The Casino De Paris and from London‘s Palladium to the “Sporting Club” in Monte Carlo.

We are working on a documentary which will see Frank telling his story through interviews and the fantastic archive film that has been sitting in his cupboard in his small flat for over 50 years. Recently we transferred some of this archive and now we want to get the puppets out of the attic, where they have sat boxed and untended for some 20 years.
